Bridal FAQ’s

Do brides get special perks?
Yes, once you are a booked bride with The Makeup Loft - any services booked will be discounted at 20%.

How do deposits work?
The $250 deposit will be paid to secure your artist and wedding date. The deposit is applied toward your final payment of services.

Can prices change?
Our prices are looked at and reviewed every year and are subject to change.  If you have an active quote that has not expired or are a booked bride you will be locked into prices listed on your contract.

How far in advance should I book for my wedding?
Typically we recommend booking 9-12 months out from your wedding.  Due to the nature of the weather in Michigan our summer and fall months do tend to book 12-18 months in advance.

What if I need to cancel my wedding?
All payments made are non-refundable, per the contract.  If you do still need to cancel your wedding, we will need written confirmation of the wedding services with The Makeup Loft being cancelled.

Can I do a trial before booking my wedding?
Yes, you absolutely can do a trial before booking your wedding and paying the deposit.  However, your date and the stylist that performs your services for the trial are not guaranteed.
